HSGA Institute of Real Estate In-Class Courses
Georgia Real Estate Commission approved 75 hour Real Estate Pre-license Course.
HSGA Institute of Real Estate (School #313) is pleased to now offer an in-class Salesperson Pre-License Course, Code 79958. Earn your Georgia Real Estate License in 75 hours and receive mentor training and support. The course starts with the basics of real estate and builds on itself. It will prepare you to take and pass the course exam and state exam. You will have seasoned instructors who will be available to help clarify issues and answer questions you may have along the way. The cost of our in-class course is $475 which includes the course exam.
Step One: Register for the Georgia Salesperson Pre-License Course
Choose a time and dates you would like to attend your classes by filling out our registration form and make a payment of $475.
Step Two: Complete the School Classes & Course Exam
After completing the 75 hour course, you will take an in class Final Course Exam.
Step Three: Complete the State Exam
A background check will need to be completed prior to the state exam. The cost for a background check is up to $25 and can be done at a local police department or sheriff’s office. State exam information will be given to students at the school. The $121 Examination Fee to PSI Exams is due prior to scheduling your state exam. Step Four: Affiliate your License
Upon passing the state exam, you are ready to affiliate your license with a brokerage (unless you turned in a Sponsoring Broker form at the time of your exam…see the AMP Candidate Handbook for more information). The licensing fee is $170 and is paid to the Georgia Real Estate Commission (if NOT affiliated within the first three months after the state exam…the licensing fee doubles to $340 after 3 months. If a license is not affiliated with a brokerage within one year, the candidate must retake the state exam).

If you have decided to pursue an exciting new real estate career, you must have a real estate license. To qualify for a Salesperson real estate license in Georgia, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age;
- Be a resident of Georgia, unless seeking a nonresident license;
- Be a high school graduate or holder of a certification of equivalency;
- Obtain a criminal history report from the GBI (Georgia Bureau of Investigation); and
- Complete a 75 hour Salesperson Prelicense course in-class.
- Pass a state real estate exam;
